ANS Training Center – ATC Training aims to qualify and develop air traffic controllers to manage and control aircraft on the ground and in the air in a safe and efficient manner. The center focuses on preventing collisions, organizing and expediting the flow of air traffic, and providing pilots with the necessary information and operational support to ensure safe flight operations.
Equipment and Facilities
The center relies in its training process on six advanced simulation laboratories designed to replicate real air traffic operations using the highest levels of technology. These simulators are programmed to perform all operational roles that air traffic controllers may encounter in real-life scenarios, including weather variations, different aircraft types and sizes, and emergency situations that may occur during operations.
The center also utilizes the available resources to support its training programs by implementing Computer-Based Training (CBT) technology, which contributes to enhancing trainees’ skills and developing their professional capabilities.
