The Aviation Security Training Center aims to train all personnel working in the security field at local and international airports, whether military or civilian. The center provides training for personnel working in the air transport sector in accordance with the National Civil Aviation Security Program.
The Aviation Security Training Center plays a key role in licensing government agencies and private security companies operating within or supporting airport and aviation security systems.
Equipment and Facilities
The training process at the center is based on simulation laboratories and specialized equipment designed to support practical and applied training.
The academy provides security trainees with two simulated X-ray laboratories. Each laboratory is equipped with nine computers, a physical X-ray machine, walk-through metal detectors, handheld metal detectors, vehicle under-search mirrors, security-dedicated cameras, as well as simulated firearms and explosive devices.
